Children at Work

My nephew who happens to be my godson celebrated his 3rd birthday with other children in town. It was fun looking at them laughing and being amused from watching Tom and Jerry as I remember my childhood days that I love watching Tom and Jerry too.

Mom told me to take them a picture that she feels like she’s in orphanage.

Blogger’s Event: WordCamp Philippines 2008

The biggest and best ever blogger’s event WordCamp Philippines 2008 is the first ever in Southeast Asia. It was weird that I registered in WordCamp with my blog in blogger, but then after attending the event, I finally realize to totally moved my personal blog into WordPress. Although I have 2 blogs already which uses WordPress (Wu Chun fansite and DigDesignz), it gives me familiarity.

Me with Matt

After a short talk from College Dean of Saint Benilde Information Technology, WordCampers headed for their selected sessions held in different rooms. Speakers Jayvee Fernandez, Gail Villanueva, Hans Koch, Markku Seguerra, Elymar Apao, Kring Elenzano, Karla Redor, Danilo Arao, Aileen Apolo, Regnard Raquedan, and of course, Matt Mullenweg did an awesome job to give us words of wisdom and fulfilled our minds with tips, lessons, and how to’s about WordPress.

We met WP-Pinoy members Joyce and Ikabon. Where looking for Chukster but we wasn’t able to find him or he’s not in the event. Miss Chiq Montes was one of the volunteers, she’s cool and cute.

Without the hardworking volunteers Fritz Tentativa, Rein Langit, Jehzeel Laurente, Arpee Lazaro, ChiQ Montes, Jonel Uy, Paul Villacorta, Fitz Villafuerte, Melo Villareal, Arbet Bernardo, Gwen Nava, Sharline Cruz, Jayvee Sacramento, and the volunteers from the Computer Business Association and the Association of Information Management of the College of St. Benilde: Angelique De Leon Caseylyn Pantaleon Bernadette Buhat Louie Lam Junette Villahermosa Stephanie Tiu Evita Gatpandan Melissa Moulic Sheena Payabyab Christie Garte Luigi Dollosa, WordCamp will not be success.

Young generation Andrew, Winston, Coy, Hannah, Ms. Tanggera and Jehzlau are really cute. This is my first time meeting with them, funny how Jehz introduce us by blogs and not by name LOL. Nice meeting you guys.

I will not forget Matt Mullenweg’s hotness of all time and I’m totally attracted with his pink Polo shirt LOL. I don’t have any idea how old is he, but when I searched his profile in the net, I am truly amazed that he’s only 24 years old. So Matt have you tried eating our very own Balut?

SM Marikina Grand Opening

September 05 was the Grand Opening of SM Marikina. Exactly at 10am, we headed immediately in SM Marikina and see how it was structured. The moment we entered the door, I feel the excitement predicting that later on I will see some of my friends there. It’s like Marikenyo’s Grand Reunion. Too many Cosplays were scattered around the SM Marikina to greet and make children afraid and have fun.

SM Marikina Grand Opening

The Department store is really spacious which makes my feet hurts upon walking for 2-3 hours due to window shopping. Three-day sale of course in all stores.

I forgot to get the schedule details of different artists and singers who will come in SM Marikina for promotion.

About Ada

My name is Ada, an old-fashioned, curly, jumper, wanderlust, who enjoys budget and DIY traveling.

I once bought Piolo Pascual’s Timeless Album just to have his autograph. I already met Jack Sparrow while traveling in El Nido (hot). Now, I look forward to seeing Mike Ross. Continue reading..
