Day 3: Bangui Windmills, Paraiso ni Anton, and Blue Lagoon + Vaseline Whitening Lotion Contest!

Cape 7

Bangui Windmills: We are really amazed with these Windmills. I’ve never seen windmills before except those on TV but this time, it’s real.

Cape 4

It’s really hot! Do not attempt to use this umbrella if your skin is not protected! I suggest reading this post to know what’s our secret. :)

Cape 5

It’s actually the Vaseline Whitening Lotion with SPF 24! They are the people behind this exciting roadtrip!

Cape 6

Paraiso ni Anton: They say, if you drink water from it, you will be healed. It is also called the miraculous water. But the local there suggest to drink it unless you will go further on top to get the cleanest water.

Paraiso ni Anton 1
I touched it wanting to heal my heart

Blue Lagoon: The Boracay of the North. I’ve never seen such blue sea as this in my entire beaching bumming life. It’s really nice to stay here!

Blue Lagoon 2

There are so many activities to offer such as Banana boat, kayaking, surfing, paddle boat, and many more!

Blue Lagoon 1

This beach is facing the South Chine Sea! Oh yeah!

We also visited these places during our Day 3 trip:

Our visit to Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is one of my favorite during our 3rd day roadtrip! For me, this is the most beautiful lighthouse ever.

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse Ilocos Norte

It is very very old! According to the lighthouse care taker, the lighthouse was built in 1892. It now powered by solar panels thus, the old and original lights are pressurized by kerosene lamps.

The lighthouse was constructed using a red bricks which adds to the it’s legendary facade.

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse was also declared as National Treasure by the National Museum. I am so proud that I have already gone there!!

I can’t believe that they permit visitors to climb on top!! It’s my first time climbing on top of lighthouse! Since most lighthouse I have ever gone doesn’t permit visitors.

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is also considered the highest elevated lighthouse in the Philippines! Woohooo!! I am happy that Vaseline made us go this further. One down!

La Paz, Ilocos Norte: Sand Dunes

Trekking has always been my favorite part of the walk!! I never knew that Philippines has some kind of a deserted spot! La Paz Sand Dunes!

Sand Dunes Ilocos Norte

Sand Dunes is located at La Paz Ilocos, Norte. It rained before we went there so the sand is kind enough not to mess on air.

Sand Dunes 7

Sand boarding is the newest activity in Sand Dunes but since we went there so early, the sand boarding rentals is yet open, thus we have more places to discover in Ilocos Norte :D

Since it is a deserted place, make sure  to apply lotion with right SPF amount.

Cape 1

I am using Vaseline Whitening Lotion since it is the only whitening lotion with the highest SPF content available in the market.

My friends Hannah and Nikki use it too! Yes, we are confident enough to trek without bothering too much about skin, we are not afraid to trek on Sand Dunes since our skin is protected.

Warning! Be careful of poops around, lol there are a lot

Paoay Church, Ilocos Norte

Every place here in Laoag is historical! I have seen Paoay Church (also known as Church of San Agustin) in photos but nothing compares to its gorgeousness when you saw it in real. It is very old, huge, and stunningly beautiful!

Marcos-1

Our jaw dropped when we saw it in person. I can’t explain the feeling while looking at the church. I envy people who lives there because the moment they go outside their houses, their time is frozen to 1593.

Marcos-2

I am sorry but it is OHMYGOD this the most beautiful church I have ever seen in my entire life!!

I took a closer look to the structure of the church and the brick walls are destroyed not by humans but by nature because of oldness.

Marcos-3

You will also get thrilled to the other side of the church. As in! Very beautiful. Breathtaking. Unexplainable emotion. Jaw dropped.

Marcos-5

Let’s go inside..

Marcos-4

I feel like I was warped in 1593. There is no music inside the church but while I was inside, I feel like I am listening to a Baroque music, lol crazy imagination seriously,

Let’s go to the bell tower!

Marcos-7

YAY warning. Not everyone can climb up! There were people who backed out while in the middle of the climb. They can’t tolerate the steepness of the ladder and afraid that it might broke anytime because the ladder is really really old.

Marcos-8
Top of bell tower.

Whew! That was a historical walk!!

Marcos-9
Cheerful locals of Laoag

Now for the contest, what music genre played in my imagination while I was inside the church?
