Plantation Bay Spa and Resort

Plantation Bay Resort and Spa is located in Mactan Island of Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. I have heard of this place 2 years ago and it is one of the nicest resorts in the Philippines. It is a 30 to 45-minute ride from Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

The resort is absolutely fabulous. Funny when I went there, I had to wait Josh for 2 to 3 hours, as he didn’t have his PH number yet, until I started to get impatient and asked if I was in the right resort. “Excuse me, is this Plantation Bay?”

Moving forward, I have mixed reviews of the resort. To start off, the hotel lobby is wonderful and tranquil along with a relaxing piece of music played pianist. The staff are nice, all of them, as one of them even bothered to ask, “Are you okay Mam?” As I was seated on their couch for about 2 to 3 hours. Continue reading »

Puerto Del Sol Beach Resort, Bolinao Pangasinan

After a blistful adventure get away to Hundred Islands, we just can’t wait to arrive in Bolinao which will be our last destination. We chose Puerto Del Sol as our place to stay.

I’ve only heard about Puerto Del Sol from true-blooded Pangasinense bloggers Mica and Anton. I thought it was just an ordinary beach resort but upon arriving, I am surprised with the ultimate elegance of the resort and a very warm service of staffs. A refreshing buko juice drink welcomed us from our 45-minute to 1-hour trip from Alaminos. Then we headed to our rooms.

I am totally inlove with their Mediterranean-inspired rooms. We chose Mansion Villa (deluxe room). We are four in this room and costs P5,700 ($130) per night inclusive of breakfast. Continue reading »
