Adaphobic.com was recognized as last year’s Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs. Another year has come and a superb number of blogs have emerged around the internet blogging what they love, emotions, views and opinions, dose of travels, photographs, love for food, fashion, beauty, etc.

Jehzeel Laurente once blog about being influential and what really an influential blogger is. To sum up, an influential bloggers are ones who made a big impact in the blogosphere, not just their blogs, but also their personality as a blogger.

For me, these blogs has left a trademark when you say “Influential.” Find out why.

1. Project 52 Weeks – A video blog of an aspiring film maker Micaela Rodriguez. From humor parodies to romance, project52weeks never fails to make audience entertain. A little tidbit information about Mica is that she is the only Filipino Director who made it to the Top 10 Online Indie Film Festival based in Canada. Please support her and vote for her film. Make Filipinos proud!
2. Facebuko.com – What else to do aside from Facebooking? Head now to facebuko and read hilarious fake conversations made by Jonas Roque between celebrities. My all-time favorite part of this blog is the chit chat talk between Chacha Bulilit and Miguel De Guzman. I remember reading this blog way back during my boring training days which always made my day complete

3. When In Manila – A nearly jack online news starring Vince Golangco which blogs about hilarious fake news. Sure this guy is a hunk! *runzz Hannah came* I first met Vince in La Union from Jonel’s Surfing event. He looks so serious back then, until I saw his blog and wow humor videos on the way!
4. Ganda Ever so Much – Fresh from General Santos, Orman shares nice to know information with a twist of kinkiness in his blog ganda ever so much! I met him in during Davao Food Appreciation Tour and I can’t forget his darna moment during our Zipline adventure! Then I started stalking his blog. It also turned out that he is friend with my previous Clinical Instructor in College. What a small world!

5. Rabsing – Ricky Dela Cruz is a blogger from Cebu. He created a noticing trademark when I met him during the Philippine Blog Awards 2009 in Cebu. He wears this appealing suit which made him look like a candidate for being a Mayor. He’s really got talent in singing! I wish to guest in his blog soon as his duet!
6. Kusina Maria – I always wanted to know how to cook. I even tempted to enroll in a short course cooking class. Good thing Kusina Maria exist which gives juicy information about delightful foods! When I met Ria Jose in Davao, I can’t help myself but to get awed with her knowledge while she talks about food. She’s indeed a talented and sexy chef!

Just this evening, I received an email from Kai Palileo (Innovations Manager under the Starcom Medievest Group and currently the media agency of McDonald’s in the Philippines). The message is this:

Dear Adaphobic,

I would like to just send you a message regarding the post you made about the Free McDonald’s GCs, first and foremost, I would like to introduce myself, I am Kai Palileo and an Innovations Manager under the Starcom Medievest Group and currently the media agency of McDonald’s in the Philippines. This viral campaign is actually one of the digital initiatives I handled for McDo a couple of months back. It is not a hoax. I’d like to assure you that this was an authentic campaign in which my team was tasked to answer thousands of emails (there were only 2 of us answering each email) and in just a few minutes of launch, we received so many emails that we literally ran out of free GCs to give away in less than an hour. We already closed the campaign and the emails still keep coming in that’s why if you try emailing, it will already bounce back. Would also like to apologize if the call center was not aware of the promo as the call center is only equipped to take delivery calls and are only aware of store or delivery related promos. This feedback has definitely taught us to ensure that all channels are well informed of each and every promo that we do and it is very well noted and greatly appreciated.

If you would like to further authenticate my response to you, you may call our head office at 884 8053 or call McDonald’s head office instead of the call center.

Thank you so much

Sincerely,
Kai Palileo

I apologize for blatantly blogging that their promo is a hoax. It’s just I think that holding such kind of promo through email can be easily considered as scam/spam or phishing strategy (collecting emails) considered to be an untrusted thing without confirming if it is safe or not.
