Santa Maria Church or La Asuncion de la Ñuestra Señora Church is one of the 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites Baroque Churches of the Philippines.

Its bell tower

Santa Maria Church was built in 1765 under Augustinian order. The bell tower was constructed a distance away from the main church to prevent possible main church damage from earthquakes.

Unfortunately, church is closed when we went there and we didn’t get to see the interiors.

Bangui Windmills: We are really amazed with these Windmills. I’ve never seen windmills before except those on TV but this time, it’s real.

It’s really hot! Do not attempt to use this umbrella if your skin is not protected! I suggest reading this post to know what’s our secret.

Paraiso ni Anton: They say, if you drink water from it, you will be healed. It is also called the miraculous water. But the local there suggest to drink it unless you will go further on top to get the cleanest water.

Blue Lagoon: The Boracay of the North. I’ve never seen such blue sea as this in my entire beaching bumming life. It’s really nice to stay here!

There are so many activities to offer such as Banana boat, kayaking, surfing, paddle boat, and many more!

This beach is facing the South Chine Sea! Oh yeah!

Yes! I am going to the beautiful Northern Luzon! Our 5-day trip will start on Monday and our first stop is Laoag. Since Monday is nearly coming, I’ve got to pack my things before anything else happen.

I started traveling last year. I make sure to travel at least once a month or twice if budget and time permits me. I am a budget traveler by the way!

I used to travel with backpack and one handy bag. As much as possible, I try to avoid my bag being checked in when I travel by plane.

What’s in my bag?

Basic hygienic things like toiletries are the first thing I pack inside my bag. It includes lotion, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, deo, feminine hygiene, facial wash, etc.

One FACT About Me: Lotion is very important to me as I travel a lot and always walk under the sun. My exposure to sun is longer than any other traveler I know because I used to take a lot of pictures!

Did you know that Vaseline Healthy White lotion is the only whitening lotion with a high SPF of 24 available in the market? Other whitening lotion just whitens but doesn’t have SPF or have little SPF content.

I admit I have brown complexion and I don’t want my skin double its brownness, so I make sure to use a lotion with double effect (whitening and SPF).

TIP: It will be nice to have your toiletries in 1 or 2 organized bag. In my case, I used to travel a lot and having an organized bag decreases the hassle of preparing my things.

Other basic things include water and coffee bottle, slippers, malong, and journal if you want to keep every precious moments intact. Of course, don’t forget your clothes and bring extra.

If unexpected things happen like someone pushed you in a pool or you got an unexpected diarrhea and accidentally pooped on your panty or brief (lol) while having trip, extra ones are always the best things to bring.
