Dangkalan Beach Resort: A place to stay at Puerto Princesa, Palawan

Posted by Ada on Category: Luzon, Palawan | 30 Comments

We actually transferred here the second day of our stay since we didn’t really like the first hotel we stayed in. We have lots of hotel brochures of Puerto Princesa and it’s hard to pick since we really don’t know which offers the best service at an affordable price until we ended up choosing Dangkalan Beach Resort.

Robinsons Galleria 13
Clean rooms, very fresh. Sure they are very accommodating. Two thumbs up!

Together with my friends Mica and Jenny, we immediately headed at their beach proper area. It’s low tide, so the water is not noticeable at far.

Dangkalan Beach Proper
My favorite spot at Dangkalan.

It’s very fascinating that they have a place like this. I am amazed with the views and the fresh strong wind coming from the beach. We’re facing the Sulu Sea!

Hanging out

We can’t help ourselves to hang out here and enjoy the view. Oh yeah look at Mica! Pick her as your model now please.

Robinsons Galleria 15
A really good place to relax.

Dangkalan Beach Resort
I want to go down lol!

Looking at me
A kid who’s watching me took pictures. This is one of my favorite shots.

Father and son
Father and son

He is offering us to ride their horse for P10 only! We should have ridden but we have to leave early, but if I were to ride there, I would give them 100 or more. Seriously, P10? Eekk! Give them a tip!

Father, horse, and his son

Fishing Area
Fish pen I think.

Dangkalan Beach Resort
Mica and I did enjoy it. Our friend Jenny Villarama was busy outside lol.

Sorry if that was a quick post! Photos says it all!

I’ve heard of this place from a classmate of mine. The place looks quite and calm, unlike the many beaches in Puerto Galera that now look like Malate placed on the beach side. ;-)

Hi delia, there are lots of place to stay in Puerto Princesa, beach proper or city proper. During our 1st day in Puerto Princesa we stayed in One Rover’s place which is in city proper but we didn’t like the place because our room doesn’t have own bathroom. Though, in front of that there’s Badjao Inn though I don’t know if it’s nice there. Try searching more in Google, I think there one place called Casa Linda owned by an actor. Hope that helps.
