Davao City: Maxima Aqua Fun Tour an Adrenalin RushPosted by Ada on Category: Adventures, Davao, Mindanao, Snorkeling | 20 Comments |
Last month, I have shared some exotic blog posts about our mouthwatering experience in Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2010 (DFAT) which was organized by Avatar Media, a new media outfit in Davao City.
We had a boat ride going to San Jose Wall, Samal where the Maxima Aquafun is located.
Going to Maxima Aquafun is a 20 to 30-minute boat ride from Pearl Farm dock Sasa, Davao City.
You wont get bored because of the fascinating scenery at far which blatantly shows that Davao is one of the beautiful paradises in the Philippines.
After a 30-minute boat ride, we finally reach the San Jose Wall where Maxima Aquafun is located.
We saw the longest tarpaulin slide ever in the country. I can’t wait to see myself sliding there!!

Kuya is preparing for the moor.
The place is filled with busy people enjoying the water. While our boat is preparing for the moor. We saw this man getting ready to jump to the sea from this High board.

High board jump to the sea. OMG exciting!
The water is very cool, clear and clean while we get closer. People are required to wear lifevest since the sea water level is 10 to 17 feet deep below reefs.
And this is the moment we have waited for. Sliding in the longest tarpaulin slide!! EEEEEKKKK!!
Yeah lol I am closing my nose since this is my 4th time sliding and the water always goes inside my nose.
This is the longest slide I have ever tried. The slide is 50 meters long and 40-feet high from the sea! To have your picture taken, just go to their photo booth and pay P60.

Awesome talaga sa Maxima. Been there twice and I even got a photo of my korean friend who just had a very dangerous way diving in there. You can view it right here http://nicelycaptured.blogspot.com/2010/09/diving-wrong-way.html

regarding the water, when we got there it is not that clean. we saw some garbage in the sea and even the manong’s there said na basura nga iyon. imagine na pagslide mo sa baba there are garbages around. well, the experience is so cool na we tried doing it 4 times.. lolz
