Davao: Eden Nature Park and ResortPosted by Ada on Category: Davao, Mindanao | 22 Comments |
After zorbing, ziplining, and water fun at Maxima, Avatar Media gave us a one of a kind walkthrough adventure which detoxified our souls during the Davao Food Appreciation Tour experience.

See these flowers that are very well taken care of
A mountain resort 3,000 feet above sea level, Eden Nature Park is 95% man-made! It is a great model of how we can re-create nature and rebuild a lost environment.
After a Buffet Lunch, we headed to the squeaking noise coming from the outside. It’s the Indiana Jones ride.

Blast yourself in this Indiana Jones ride!
This is a very good way of exploding yourself up, an adrenalin rush ride! I was planning to do it on my own but the pulley can’t be moved so I asked someone to push me away and HOLLA!! I really waited for people to finish their ride. I want a solo flight!

Play in the corner with your father..
After the Indiana Jones ride, we walked through this 80-hectare park with 100,000 pine trees planted. Stress relief guide articles shows that smelling pine trees reduces stress, hypertension, and depression.
As we walk, peacocks are everywhere, mostly white peacocks until we found this one resting under the tree with its amazing pigmentation. Looks like an alien. Be careful not to scare them.
Walking again, we finally reached the Garden of Eden. WOOW. The flowers are very well taken care of. From its virgin petals to its roots. The arrangement is fabulous!
Enjoy my photos from this garden as we move to Lola’s Garden (a shuttle ride from Garden of Eden).

Trying to be as beautiful as flowers.. lol
We are here now at Lola’s Garden. Lola’s Garden is notable for its giant gumamelas (hibiscus flower), it’s like the size of two to three hands or as big as my face.
If there is one cute thing about this garden, it’s the colorful dragonflies. Blue, green, violet (very violet), and red. Does it look like it was sprayed? Interesting!!
Next, welcome to Tinubdan. It’s a cultural showcase museum to share the wisdom and knowledge of lumads (indigenous people of Southern Philippines).
We are especially proud of Tinubdan—a cultural park/outdoor museum designed to give our guests a glimpse of lumad life.
The shuttle bus also took us to vegetable and herb garden where they only harvest what is good for the health. We even got to taste and smell some fresh herbs like mint, basil, laurel, and much more.
There are many things to do in Eden Nature Park and Resort. For adventure seekers, other than Indiana Jones, they have zipline and trekking. For free time seekers, they have horse back riding, fishing, swimming, and even watch fireflies at night, and for lovers, this garden is very much available for your dream wedding and fantastic honeymoon.

The scenery here is great, it reminds me of when I visited Busch Gardens on one of my cheap holidays to Florida but ona smaller scale. If you get a chance, you should visit sometime.
