Outland Adventure’s Longest Zipline in Asia, DavaoPosted by Ada on Category: Adventures, Davao, Mindanao, Zipline | 16 Comments |
Trekking + Ropes Course + Longest Zipline? This ultimate 3-in-1 adventure can only be experienced in Outland Adventure Xcelerator in Davao City.

Charles Ortiz in inverted position.
When we arrived, I saw some photos of people who tried ziplining in inverted position. I dared myself to try that position as well as Cai and other bloggers, so our harness is different from others.
Before the adventure starts, one of the crews orients us about certain preparations. We would be rafting across the lake to get to the other hill and trek on top where the zipline is set off so make sure to bring water or any drink.

Rafting. First batch going to the next hill to trek.
I didn’t have bottled water with me during the trek. I have to admit that I am not listening to the crew
I thought I was going to die from dehydration. Luckily my cardiovascular is healthy enough to go beyond.
The hill is very steep! Always hold onto the safety handrails.
Every climb, you will see tarpaulins saying SMILE, Please go at your own pace, Zipline 400 meters ahead, etc.
You will appreciate the view from top after the long trek so take a breath, freshen up, rest, and prepare for the real experience, Zipline!
It sucks that I don’t have a photo of me in inverted position, I think one of my friends have it.

Orman Manansala the real darna.
By the way, weight doesn’t matter! Orman chose the superman position.
The zipline is about 1-km long but you will get to experience it in less than a minute. They said viewing the lakes and mountains below is exhilarating. Since I’m in inverted position, I find it hard looking the view from top.
Once again, thank you Avatar Media! I’ve already experienced the fastest and longest zipline in Asia! (For only P300).

hi, saw your blog from flaircandy. i’m also a travel junkie and would like to go to Davao too.
Hmmm, and here i thought that Bukidnon’s Dahilayan ZipZone is the longest zip in asia at 840m. talo pa pala sya ng outland. Drats! i must do this! thanks for this post.
* i guess this is the longest speed zip while dahilayan has the longest dual cable zip.
