Review of Cash Cash Pinoy deal and their client (dental clinic)

I bought a Complete Teeth Whitening voucher from Cash Cash Pinoy.  For those who aren’t aware of Cash Cash Pinoy, it is a group buying website. I availed the voucher last March 2011 with an expiration date of June 2011.

June 2011, I decided to finally redeem the voucher, so I called the clinic to schedule the procedure. Right after work, I went straight to the dental clinic. I was excited that time. When I arrived in the clinic, the assistant greeted me warmly, “Ms. Lajara?” She then gave me a consent form regarding the procedure.  The dentist was also nice and very accommodating. After filling out the form, the procedure then began.

Review of Cash Cash Pinoy

The dentist was really nice and caring. She made sure that my teeth won’t feel any sensitivity during the procedure. She made me feel that I’m a very valued customer. She gave me a bell and instructed me to ring it whenever there’s a pain or stinging sensation. She then carefully put the bleaching product on my teeth.

After few minutes of applying the bleaching product, I felt this slight stinging sensation on my lower lip, so I rang the bell. She immediately attended to it and applied a topical agent to lessen and remove the sensation. The whole procedure lasted for 45 minutes.  She handed the mirror to let me see the outcome.  I noticed the result, although it wasn’t a drastic result, my teeth is whiter now especially my canine teeth.

After the procedure, the dentist tried to sell me their whitening toothpaste and anti-sensitivity toothpaste which cost Php1,500 each. Wow, a total of Php3,000!! She said it’s for maintenance purposes to prevent the previous shade of my teeth from coming back. I’m not interested, damn Php1,500 for each toothpaste. I would rather buy whitening strip or Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpaste for only Php55.00.

I am satisfied with the result (the whitening procedure). Although, I have few concerns. On the Cash Cash Pinoy website, it says there Save 75% off for a Complete Dental Check-up, Teeth Cleaning, and Teeth Whitening Session Valued at Php25,000.

Review of Cash Cash Pinoy

The description on CashCashPinoy website was not accurate, the dentist only did the teeth whitening, and no dental check up and teeth cleaning was done. The dentist explained that if we will do a teeth cleaning or oral prophylaxis, the teeth would be very sensitive and I might not be able to tolerate the Whitening procedure.

At the back of my mind I was like, you should have not included the Dental Check up and Teeth Cleaning from the Cash Cash Pinoy website then.. So that’s why it’s just for Php5,000 only.

Upon searching the internet on how much the teeth whitening/bleaching really costs, the result will show Php 10,000 to Php12,000. I guess I already got a cheap deal in this teeth whitening procedure in 50% off; however, this is one of the great examples of inaccurate advertisement description.

Disclaimer: I prefer not to divulge the information or the name of the dental clinic. Again, I like their service, it’s just that how they (along with Cash Cash Pinoy) presented the promo was just inaccurate.

Hi Ada. Dapat may dental check up muna. Tapos oral prophylaxis, saka whitening. Kasi, paano yung nasa ilalim ng dumi ng ngipin mo? Saka kapag whitening, inoral prophylaxis man o hindi, sensitive iyan.

Cash Cash Pinoy is always like that. I once bought a voucher for rebonding from them. It’s 50% off so I got the service for only 800, with free haircut and cellophane. But I only got the rebonding procedure. :|

I agree with Jesus, it’s really a case to case basis. I’m sure if your situation called for it, you got both whitening and prophylaxis. To be fair to CashCashPinoy, I don’t think it was overtly inaccurate promo, it’s still the dentist’s call.

same here, experienced the same with the stupid republic tattoo deal, i even contacted the tattoo store before buying and verified the contents of what im about to buy, clearly he said 2×2 colored, then at the actual deal, he then spieled stuffs that was not mention, and pointed that i was at fault for not asking it. WTF. got very disappointed and the admins of cashcashpinoy didnt even help, simple form of scam just to earn money.

Seems that people have different experiences with cashcash. For me, it was actually quite positive. With my wife, we already bought several products and never encountered any problems until this last december. We ordered one of their Christmas tree. We were really worried and upset when we saw that nothing was coming. But we received an email, and we also saw their explanation on their facebook page about this transporter problem. My wife have been contacted by mail and requested a refund in credits. 3 days later, it was on our account. I had really worst experiences with SM customer service or SMART support and they are really bigger companies!! For us, cashcash is still a good place to buy things despite this Christmas tree story. They still have our trust. Moire power to them!

I bought a camera from them – 5-Megapixel Digital Camera – and never received it.

I am also a victim of CASH CASH Pinoy. They were not able to deliver the purchased item on the said date because they only discovered that the merchant’s delivery was incomplete on the day I am claiming the item. They have violated one consumer right which is the RIGHT OF INFORMATION which can be complained to the DTI.

Thats why we ALWAYS contact the merchant/business owner before buying the coupon. Ask the details posted in the website to verify the availability and validity of service/item. Para pagdating mo dun di ka mage-expect na lahat ng andun eh totoo. Since they are just 3rd party group buying site, a lot of false advertisement may happen since hindi naman talaga sila ang may business. Rule of thumb in online buying is be vigilant at all times. maraming manloloko sa panahon ngayon.

As for delivery items, di na kami kumukuha nun kahit gaano pa ka-mura. nadala na ko sa ensogo. i once ordered an iphone joystick and after 2months di pa rin dumadating yung item. and worse nung dumating yung item, iba ang laman, stylus pen which is half cheaper than what i bought. oh well just charge to experience. i’m still getting restaurant and travel deals though. hehe

I just hope that by posting a comment through your CashCash Pinoy Review, I will get a final response on their failure to replace a defective Delkin SP019 Speaker System that I purchased from them.

I have been communicating with their Ms. Maricar and Ms. Tin until they pulled-out the defective unit and after several follow-ups, they eventually replaced it with THE VERY SAME DEFECTIVE SPEAKER THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY DELIVERED.

I know this because I placed some identifying marks inside the box and it was the same box with the defective speaker. Still, I chose not to be negative and tested the speakers from my iPod and my laptop. Still, it was defective.

I do not know if they are trying to pull a fast one on me or are they simply ignorant about it? I have sent several emails again but to my disappointment, they have not given even the slightest squeak.
