Sickening Political TV AdsPosted by Ada on Category: Blogging | 59 Comments |
Don’t read this if you are for Manny Villar.
A random posts. I’m just sick of watching Manny Villar’s TV ad over and over.

According to this youtube user, a 30 seconds TV ad costs P300,000+ depending on the time of airing and TV Network.

The newest Manny Villar TV Ad: with Boy Abunda. Let’s calculate the estimated costs of this Ad.
- 3-minute airtime = P900,000
- Boy Abunda’s talent fee. Last 2007 Election, Boy Abunda said that he don’t accept talent fees from politicians, I don’t believe that. Let’s say P500,000?
- TV Ads appears 2-3 times a day
- Cost is P4,200,000 x 7 days (the Ad is teleserye) = P29,400,000
Enough to build free houses for the poor, industrial for unemployed, free education for children.
About P30,000,000 or more than is being wasted and if they win, what’s next? I’m not just talking about Manny Villar.

I like MV. Somehow, unlike other candidate, may concrete works siyang naipapakita.
The ads are annoying I know. On the brighter note na lang din, at least nakikilala natin sila kahit kaunti. Hehe.

I like some of the things with Manny Villar, but like other politicians (administration or opposition), it’s not really proper to expose themselves this early. By technicalities, this is not early campaigning but they already announced their intentions, and these are effectively early campaigns.

Well, that’s the reality of Philippine politics. Our politicos are spending millions for TV ads. The question is,how are they going to recover that expenses? Well, itanong nalang natin ke Money Villar.
Nice blog.Keep it up!

Actually, before I really like Manny Villar. But maaan!! Ever since his TV Ads went out, grrr!! They are just too annoying.
