I bought a Complete Teeth Whitening voucher from Cash Cash Pinoy. For those who aren’t aware of Cash Cash Pinoy, it is a group buying website. I availed the voucher last March 2011 with an expiration date of June 2011.
June 2011, I decided to finally redeem the voucher, so I called the clinic to schedule the procedure. Right after work, I went straight to the dental clinic. I was excited that time. When I arrived in the clinic, the assistant greeted me warmly, “Ms. Lajara?” She then gave me a consent form regarding the procedure. The dentist was also nice and very accommodating. After filling out the form, the procedure then began.

The dentist was really nice and caring. She made sure that my teeth won’t feel any sensitivity during the procedure. She made me feel that I’m a very valued customer. She gave me a bell and instructed me to ring it whenever there’s a pain or stinging sensation. She then carefully put the bleaching product on my teeth.
After few minutes of applying the bleaching product, I felt this slight stinging sensation on my lower lip, so I rang the bell. She immediately attended to it and applied a topical agent to lessen and remove the sensation. The whole procedure lasted for 45 minutes. She handed the mirror to let me see the outcome. I noticed the result, although it wasn’t a drastic result, my teeth is whiter now especially my canine teeth.
After the procedure, the dentist tried to sell me their whitening toothpaste and anti-sensitivity toothpaste which cost Php1,500 each. Wow, a total of Php3,000!! She said it’s for maintenance purposes to prevent the previous shade of my teeth from coming back. I’m not interested, damn Php1,500 for each toothpaste. I would rather buy whitening strip or Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpaste for only Php55.00.
I am satisfied with the result (the whitening procedure). Although, I have few concerns. On the Cash Cash Pinoy website, it says there Save 75% off for a Complete Dental Check-up, Teeth Cleaning, and Teeth Whitening Session Valued at Php25,000.

The description on CashCashPinoy website was not accurate, the dentist only did the teeth whitening, and no dental check up and teeth cleaning was done. The dentist explained that if we will do a teeth cleaning or oral prophylaxis, the teeth would be very sensitive and I might not be able to tolerate the Whitening procedure.
At the back of my mind I was like, you should have not included the Dental Check up and Teeth Cleaning from the Cash Cash Pinoy website then.. So that’s why it’s just for Php5,000 only.
Upon searching the internet on how much the teeth whitening/bleaching really costs, the result will show Php 10,000 to Php12,000. I guess I already got a cheap deal in this teeth whitening procedure in 50% off; however, this is one of the great examples of inaccurate advertisement description.
Disclaimer: I prefer not to divulge the information or the name of the dental clinic. Again, I like their service, it’s just that how they (along with Cash Cash Pinoy) presented the promo was just inaccurate.
