Santa Maria Church or La Asuncion de la Ñuestra Señora Church is one of the 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites Baroque Churches of the Philippines.

Oh yeah! I have been to 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites Baroque Churches of the Philippines! The first one was the Paoay Church. Two more churches woot!!

Santa Maria Church was built in 1765 under Augustinian order. The bell tower was constructed a distance away from the main church to prevent possible main church damage from earthquakes. Continue reading »

Bangui Windmills: We are really amazed with these Windmills. I’ve never seen windmills before except those on TV but this time, it’s real.

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse, Burgos, Ilocos Norte

Our visit to Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is one of my favorite during our 3rd day roadtrip! For me, this is the most beautiful lighthouse ever.

It is very very old! According to the lighthouse care taker, the lighthouse was built in 1892. It now powered by solar panels thus, the old and original lights are pressurized by kerosene lamps.
