In this blog post, I will showcase some unique designs from hotels I have visited and find out why I find them outstanding.
Modern Filipino Style
We were lucky to enough to stay in this romantic resort in Bolinao, Pangasinan. The management even let us tour around the resort and showcased us their amazing room types. Each room took my breath away most especially the Nipa Hut style room.

The construction was inspired from an indigenous house known as nipa hut which mostly used in the Philippines and other parts of Southeast Asia. The elements starting from the ceiling to its flooring are very original and will definitely evoke a rustic feeling with bedroom designs that can be found at www.thefurnituremarket.co.uk.
Mediterranean-inspired
Mediterranean style originated in countries including Spain, Greece, and Italy which are situated in Mediterranean Sea. Its furniture style ranges from simply practical to exceptionally formal. Designs always include flowers on the tables, colorful paintings, textured wall, and crafts often burnished.

This was the room where we stayed which is actually attached in their mansion villa. The room was just perfect for us as we were from a long trip to the northern part of the Philippines – it gave us a refreshing sensation.
Spanish-inspired
This Spanish-inspired hotel was built in 1983 yet the materials and furniture look fresh and new. It was the first 5-star resort hotel I have stayed which is located in the heart of the Laoag City. Great hotel lobby, excellent customer service, and the resources they used were just outstanding which exceeded my expectations.

For non-guests, you can try their recreation facilities and services like horse back riding, all terrain vehicle, archery, go kart, and lots more.
How about you, what made your hotel stay memorable? Are there any unique hotel finds you want to share?
