Why travel England and Learn English

There’s always confusion between England and United Kingdom (UK) and I admit that I am one of those people whose are confused. Are they both countries? Upon thorough researching, I read that both are countries, only that England is part of United Kingdom. Hmm wait, I’m still confused. Maybe I should read more about UK geography.

I have a friend who has been to UK and she loved it there. She’s actually set to come back there, however, she still waiting for the right time.  She has been to many places and I see how beautiful the country is. Buildings, museums, hunk boys, wholesome girls, and awesome foods, made me want to travel to England soon. However, for some people, learning English in England is the reason why they travel.

London, being the capital of England, is actually an ideal location for students to study English. I have blogged about London on my earlier posts as why people travel there and the top reason was to study and learn English. That London, England, being the home of English language is an exciting place to live too because of its rich culture and history. Aside from that, schools and government permit students to work too while studying which also helps them to have productive and functional lifestyle.

There are also several challenges that students face while studying English in other countries.  They have to develop the passion in learning; read English books, watch English movies or TV series, and speak to people who live there everyday. Also, learning creates a great impact to change their life as some students do learn English whole day which shouldn’t be done. According to studies, the recommended length of time to study English is 15 to 20 minutes only and the rest is application such an enjoyable conversation to native English speakers.

Meanwhile, I’ve seen several website which offers courses to study English and the only company that tops is the Kaplan International Colleges.  Even here in the Philippines, Kaplan is the no. 1 option for Filipino students wishing to review for IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
