According to a magazine I’ve read, learning English helps you gain more knowledge as you will gain access to media written and watched in English. Example of these media resources are the following:
- Books and magazines. Every books and magazines in the world are always written in English. I remember when I was studying, all of my books were written in English, except the book which tackled Filipino culture and language of course.
- Internet and websites. Nowadays, internet is widely known as the main source of media (for tech savvy people), and experts coined websites and internet as the new social media. And as most websites are written in English, access to things you need is very easy.
- Movies. As we all know, USA is very famous when it comes to movie industry (Hollywood) and most of the blockbuster films are from the USA. So if you understand English well, you’ll get to see and watch more good movies.
The USA is such a large piece of continent, having said that, it is a great opportunity for students to push for more travels and diverse into different States with different culture. They can learn English at a vast range of locations across the country, from the west coast California, to the east coast New York, as there are lots of English schools in the USA to choose from.
Night life in some part of the USA is also whimsical, which is a great opportunity to meet locals and make friends. So you will not just learn and study English in the USA but also enjoy which is an innovative way to improving your English.
