Zorbing at Zorb Park, Davao

Zorbing

Get ready for this CRAZY WILD experience and become an instant Zorbonaut! A typical zorb for recreation is 9 feet in diameter with shock absorber and harness inside constructed for two riders.

Sunset behind Zorb

I was really excited to try this because I know it’s gonna be fun rolling down the hills with your partner inside, face-to-face, seeing each other SCREAMING!

That's the first pair!
The first pair getting ready to roll down. They were already screaming!

Blogger pals Sarah and Donna were the first pair who tried zorbing. We can’t help to make fun of them since they were already shouting before the zorb rolls!!!

Donna’s face after zorbing!

Now, what are the preparations before zorbing?

Zorbing

There are 4 to 5 people who will assist you before, during, and after the ride. They will make sure that the harness is secured enough to hold your body during the zorbing.

If you are wearing closed shoes, make sure that your feet doesn’t stink. Shoes and slippers are not allowed inside the ball.

Kuya making sure that the harness is secured enough.

While the assistant is securing your harness, take a deep breath and relax. You can not ride the zorb ball if you are more than 230 pounds and claustrophobic.

Apparently, my knees were already shaking while kuya is securing the harness for me. My partner Cai is kind of nervous too. Kuya told us that the harness is safe no matter what your height is.

We were already shouting!!
LOL. That’s us. Already shouting!!

Before rolling us down, the other kuya gave a last tip. DO NOT FART. It will really stinks inside the orb.

When kuya told us about this, I told him that wala naman uutot samin noh… (no one will fart between us). But ATE what I said, I FARTED. Good thing my partner wasn’t able to smell it.

Our shout gets louder and louder
We are rolling down!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Damn it CHOCOLATE FUDGE. That was us rolling down! Don’t close your eyes, just look at your partner. BUT HELL!! I can’t do that! My eyes shut from time to time.

After Zorb action
After the zorbing. Silly face.

The whole zorbing action lasts for less than a minute only. It’s okay if you don’t want to shout but if you are gonna try this, enjoy every roll!!

Cai Abbass
I hate my partner Cai. LOL. She managed to watch me screaming! I can’t stand watching her since my eyes we’re half close!

The whole experience is so much fun! While writing this, I can still feel the craziness during the zorbing. It is an exhilarating experience to try for people who seek weird wild fun and adventure.

Zorbing

Apart from crazy experience, the sunset in the Zorb Park is amazing. People who work here are lucky enough to witness this everyday natural phenomenon. Really sooo FANTASTIC!

Zorb Park during sunset

It’s hard to leave the place without finishing the sunset but we have more appointments to attend to :(.
